Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #10-09-196 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2010, PAYABLE 2011, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2010, payable 2011, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund -General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 894,172 Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 291,705 Collected as Property Tax General Levy 6,097,955 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Lease Revenue Bond (collected as property tax): Municipal Center 508,215 Certificates of Indebtedness 186,441 CIP Bond-Fire Station #1 150,121 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $7,283,832 844,777 8 128 609 2) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $353,684.63 related to the $4,225,000 GO Improvement Bond, Series 2005B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. 3) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $1,508,215 related to the Project Lease Revenue Bond for the Municipal Center. The City will levy $508,215 and fund the remainder debt payment with an internal transfer from the Water Utility Fund in the amount of $1,000,000. 3) That the City of Ramsey's 2010 Public Budget Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
