The two improvements are an off-leash area and community garden space -both of . <br />which would work well aesthetically and function with other park elements if <br />designed and implemented appropriately. Staff is in the process of developing a <br />concept plan for the park and a corresponding budget, with the intention that for the <br />meeting, the Commission will have a plan to react to that provides some green space <br />and modest improvements for as soon as the spring of 2011. <br />The enclosed subject map also calls out the need for a trail or sidewalk connection <br />that is believed to be needed to the existing neighborhood to the northeast (the red <br />dashed line), and wetland in the north-middle of the park. Also noted (by the blue <br />oval) is municipal well #8, with may be the source of Utility Funds for landscape <br />associated with it.
