Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:. RESOLUTION #10- 09 -XXX RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #10 -02 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL OF BEAUDRY ADDITION, PELTZER ADDITION, UNPLATTED STREET IN SECTIONS 21 & 22, AND SORTEBURG 4 TH & 5 TH ADDITIONS) WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the Improvement Project 409 -02, which is includes the cracksealing and sealcoating of: 149th Ave from Ramsey Blvd to Limonite St 149th Lane from Limonite St to Cul de sac 150th Ave from Kamacite St to Garnet St 150th Lane . from Ramsey Blvd to Uranimite St 151 st Ave from Ramsey Blvd to Garnet St 151st Ave from Ramsey Blvd to Uranimite St 151st Lane from Ramsey Blvd to Uranimite St 152nd Ave from Ramsey Blvd to pt 200 ft e/o Hematite St 152nd Ave from Ramsey Blvd to Uranimite St 152nd Lane from Ramsey Blvd to Uranimite St 153rd Ave from Ramsey Blvd to Jaspar St 153rd Lane from Ramsey Blvd to Rhinestone St 154th Lane from Ramsey Blvd to Rhinestone St 158th Ave from Armstrong Blvd to Variolite St Garnet St from 150th Ave to Cul de sac Hematite St from 150th Ave to Cul de sac Jaspar St- from 151st Ave to 153rd Ave Kamacite St from 149th Lane to 152nd Ave Limonite St from 149th Ave to 151stAve NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) That such assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of three years, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 2011 and shall bear interest at the rate of 4.75 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment interest shall be added on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 2011. To each subsequent installment, when due, interest shall be added for one year on all unpaid installments. Resolution #10- 09 -XXX Page 1 of 2
