CASE # (, <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON IP 09 -23 <br />REPAIR OF SEPTIC SYSTEM AT 16207 AZURITE STREET <br />By: Steven Jankowski, Assistant City Engineer <br />Background: <br />The property owners at 16207 Azurite Street approached the City because their septic system <br />was determined to be in failure and had no other means of financing the necessary repair. City <br />policy to protect public health and safety allowed for Improvement Project 09 -23 to undertake <br />the necessary repairs with the cost of the work, plus a 25% administrative charge, plus interest <br />being assessed to this subject property. <br />Final cost for this project have now been determined and the cost are to be assessed to the subject <br />property over a ten year period <br />Recommendation: <br />Following the close of the Public Hearing adopt the attached resolution 10- 09 -XXX levying a <br />special assessment for Improvement Projects #09 -24 the repair of the septic system at <br />16207Azurite Street. <br />Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 10- 09 -XXX levying a special assessment on Improvement Projects <br />#09 -23 for the repair of the septic system at 16207Azurite Street. <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works/Prmcipal City Engineer <br />City Engineer <br />Finance Director <br />CC: 09/28/10 <br />
