Motion by Chairperson Van Scoy, seconded by Board Member Cleveland, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Van Scoy, Board Members, Cleveland, Hunt, and <br />Levine. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Members Brauer, Dunaway, and Rogers. <br />The Public Hearing closed at 8:28 p.m. <br />Board Business <br />Discussion ensued regarding the number of parking spaces required. <br />Motion by Chairperson Van Scoy, seconded by Board Member Hunt, to adopt Resolution #10- <br />08 -158 adopting Findings of Fact #0872 favorable to the applicant's request for a variance to <br />parking standards which includes the number of spaces and setback due to the unique topography <br />and water features which limit the buildable area. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Van Scoy, Board Members Hunt, Cleveland, and <br />Levine. Voting No: None. Absent: Board members Brauer, Dunaway, and Rogers. <br />Motion by Chairperson Van Scoy, seconded by Board Member Levine, to adopt Resolution #10- <br />08 -159 to approve the request for a variance to parking standards, number of spaces and setback <br />based on the findings of fact and declaring terms of the same with an addition to number one <br />"construct a parking lot with 27 stalls with a 10 foot setback" and number three "by resolution <br />City Council can request the additional spaces to be constructed if it is determined they are <br />needed ". <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Van Scoy, Board Members Levine, Cleveland, and <br />Hunt. Voting No: None.
