Coo5eln+ # S °- ' I <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 410- 10 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION CREATING AN ON STREET BIKE LANE ALONG 475' OF RHINESTONE STREET <br />NW, SOUTH OF 161S AVENUE NW, AND RESTRICTING PARKING THROUGH THIS CORRIDOR <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey approved the subdivision of SWEETBAY RIDGE on July 25, <br />2006; and <br />WHEREAS, a requirement of this subdivision approval included the construction of an off street <br />trail and boardwalk through the wetland and properties located within Block 5 of the plat; and <br />WHEREAS, it was the desire of the residents living within the Block 5 properties of the <br />SWEETBAY RIDGE subdivision to not have the trail and boardwalk located within their back yards; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it was agreeable to the City to relocate the required off street trail to an on street <br />trail in front of the residences along the northeast side of Rhinestone Street NW, south of 161 Avenue <br />NW; and <br />WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the <br />street. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on the northeast side of Rhinestone <br />Street NW, south of 161 Avenue NW, at all times. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
