Case #3: REVIEW MEMO REGARDING SOPHIA RAMSEY, LLC SUBSIDY <br />AGREEMENT <br />Planning Manager Miller presented the Staff report. <br />Chairperson Riley stated the memo was self explanatory. He summarized that the space needs <br />changed and months of negotiations went by before getting Council approval. <br />Board Member Steffen inquired when the PSD, LLC request would go before Council. <br />Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director Nelson City Council will be <br />considering the PSD, LLC subsidy at either their Tuesday, September 28th or Tuesday, October 12`h <br />meeting. <br />Economic Development Consultant Mulrooney stated the two parties will need to have an <br />agreement before it goes forward to Council. <br />Case #4: STAFF UPDATE <br />The members decided on Thursday, November 18`h for the_Fall EDA Business Networking Event. <br />The location will be the Alexander Ramsey Room. Discussion ensued as to the topic and speakers <br />for the event. <br />Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director Nelson stated there were 20 <br />applications for the Economic Development position. Chairperson Riley will participate in the <br />interviews that will be held Wednesday, September 22"d. Five to seven applicants will be <br />interviewed. <br />Planning Manager Miller presented an update on Legacy Christian Academy's land use <br />applications. <br />MEMBER INPUT <br />None <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Member LeTourneau, seconded by Member Steffen, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried.
