Mayor Ramsey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10 -04 -087 <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REORGANIZAITON IN <br />ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, the Deputy City Administrator conducted an analysis of the City's <br />economic development priorities and functions and determined a need to shift responsibilities in <br />Administrative Services; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending reassigning Information and Technology and <br />Facilities to the Human Resources Manager /Assistant Director of Administrative Services to <br />enable the Deputy City Administrator to focus the City's economic development and HRA <br />priorities. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to do the following: Reassign oversight responsibility for IT and Facilities to the <br />Human Resources Manager and reclassify that position to Human Resources Manager /Assistant <br />Director of Administrative Services. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />McGlone, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />
