Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinances to Amend Housing Maintenance Standards and Licensing <br />Requirements for Rental Housing <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that in 2002, the City Council directed staff to <br />review and update City Code as it relates to the maintenance of all housing in the City of <br />Ramsey, as well as the licensing of rental housing. The Ramsey Housing Committee has <br />reviewed the draft amendments to City Code and forwarded it to the City Council for review. <br />The City Council formally introduced both ordinances at the July 8, 2003 Council meeting. Both <br />ordinances would take effect 30 days after passage and publication, but the Rental Licensing <br />ordinance will not be fully implemented by staff until January 2004.
