A tree preservation plan has been submitted and is generally acceptable with comments and changes <br />outlined in the Staff Review Letter. No density transition is required for this project. However, a <br />bufferyard is required around the common property boundary with an existing single family home located <br />on Puma St. The site plan proposes a forty (40) foot wide bufferyard, consistent with City Code, with <br />landscaping. <br />Funding: <br />All costs associated with reviewing the application are the responsibility of the Applicant. <br />Recommendation: <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of the site plan, contingent upon compliance with the City <br />Staff Review Letter dated September 27, 2010, approval of the rezoning to Public /Quasi Public and <br />approval of amending the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use to Public /Quasi Public. <br />Council Action: <br />1. Motion to approve the minor subdivision and the site plan contingent upon compliance with the <br />City Staff Review Letter dated September 27, 2010 <br />2. Motion to adopt Resolution # approving the request and authorizing staff to submit the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Metropolitan Council, contingent upon final plat and site <br />plan approval <br />3. Adopt the resolution adopting Findings of Fact # to rezone certain property from R -1, <br />R -2, and R -3 Residential to Public /Quasi Public. <br />4.
