Required Ground Cover. Lawns are required for all residential <br />developments and shall be installed with either sod, seed, natural ~ound <br />cover, or native grasses in the R-1 Residential District within 1 year. <br />Noxious weeds do not constitute allowed ground cover in any district: <br /> <br />Lighting: <br /> <br />Any lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area, .sign or <br />structure, shall be arranged to deflect light away from any adjoining <br />residential district or public' street. Bulbs emitting in excess of 3000 <br />lumens (150 watts) shall be so directed that the bulb is not visible from off <br />of the property where such light source is located. <br /> <br />Exterior Building Materials: <br /> <br />The type of building materials used on exterior wails shall be face brick, <br />natural stone, stucco, aluminum, steel, or vinyl siding, wood, masonite <br />products or other compatible residential materials that may be approved by <br />the Planning Commission and Council. <br /> <br />h. Screening: <br /> <br />1. Screening requirements in accordance with section 9.11.09 of City Code. <br /> <br />Section 9.20.12 "R~ IU Residential District", shall be replaced with the following text: <br /> <br />9.20.12 <br /> <br />R-2 Residential District <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent. The intent of this district is to accommodate multiple dwellings at <br />a density of three to seven dwelling units per acre and multiple dwelling complexes within the <br />2020 ~vfLrSA. All properties located within the 2020 M-USA shall be serviced by sanitary sewer <br />and municipal water. <br /> <br />Subdivision 2. Permitted Uses <br /> <br />a. Multiple dwelling structures, which includes duplexes, twinhomes, townhomes, and <br /> apartment buildings, containing no more than 10 units. <br />b. Agriculture, excluding the raising of livestock and poultry within the MUSA <br /> boundary unless compliance with City Code Chapter 5 (Animals and Fowl) can be <br /> maintained. <br /> c. Accessory Uses as permitted in section 9.11.02. <br /> d. Licensed home daycares in accordance with State Statute. <br /> e. State licensed group homes in accordance with State Statute. <br /> f.
