Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-05- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM RUI~4L TO R-1U SINGLE FAMILY URB 'gxN RESIDENTIAL. RELATING TO A R-IR SINGLE FAMILY WHEREAS, on April 9, 2002, the City of Ramsey (the "City") received an application from Oakwood Land Development to rezone the following legally described property from R-iR Single Family Rural to R-IU Single Family Urban in accordance with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code: Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Wildlife Sanctuary Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota and that part of Lot 3, said Block 1 lying Northerly of a line described as follows: Commencing at the most Northerly comer of said Lot 3, thence South 21 degrees 50 minutes 14 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the Northeasterly of said Lot 3, a distance of 115.79 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 74 degrees 13 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 163.50 feet to the Northwesterly line of said Lot 3 and there terminating. (S ubj ect Property) NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on May 2, 2002, and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated by reference. 2. That the Subject Property to be rezoned is approximately 31.66 acres. 3. That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MI,rSA) Boundary. 4. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-iR, Singte Family Rural. That the 2001 Comprehensive Plan identifies the Subject Property for Iow-density residential development arid low density development has been established at 3 units per -'143-
