The City Council recently approved an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to reclassify the property for development with medium density residential uses. On April 12, 2002, the City received notification from Metropolitan Council that the land use change from low to medium density residential was approved. The applicant is requesting that the City rezone the property to R-3 Urban Residential in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Plan Amendment. City Staff recommends approval of the rezonmg.
