3) Excess Inventory <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated that the City acquired some property on the west side of Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard and there is currently a barn structure left on the property. The City has been <br />receiving calls as to whether or not the structure is for sale. She recommended that the City <br />designate the barn as excess property if there is no need for the structure. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if there are other items that need to be declared excess <br />property. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler replied that he did not believe that there was much <br />excess inventory at this time. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to direct staff to follow standard <br />procedures for declar/ng the barn excess property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />4) ACCAP Housing Project <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if Ramsey residents were going to be allowed to be placed <br />on a preferred list for the units. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that he would discuss issue with ACCAP and report to the <br />Council in the weekly update. <br /> <br />5) Town Center Task Force <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak noted that the Town Center Task Force will be taldng input on Thursday <br />at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen felt that the task force should be taking public input later in the <br />evening since most people work. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that he would pass the concern on to the task force. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen suggested scheduling the public input time in conjunction with the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />6) Appreciation Dinner <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if anyone is invited to the appreciation dinner from the <br />Environmental Expo. <br /> <br />City Council/April 23, 2002 <br />Page 15 of 16 <br /> <br />-31- <br /> <br /> <br />
