I <br /> I <br />'1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-05-Y~XX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO LATOUR <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-52 (SUNWOOD DRIVE <br />EXTENSION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01- <br />approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 26, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02- <br />02-070 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project to <br />LaTour Construction in the amount of $769 ,' 15.8o; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Br'/an Ols0n-inspected .the completed work and <br />recommended lst partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $249,777.55. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOIC4, COUNTY, STATE OF ~LINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to LaTour Construction for <br />Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project in the -amount of <br />$249,777.55 on May 28, 2002. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of May, 2002. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
