I I '1 I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-05-Y~XX RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO LATOUR CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-52 (SUNWOOD DRIVE EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01- approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and WHEREAS, on February 26, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02- 02-070 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project to LaTour Construction in the amount of $769 ,' 15.8o; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Br'/an Ols0n-inspected .the completed work and recommended lst partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $249,777.55. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOIC4, COUNTY, STATE OF ~LINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to LaTour Construction for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project in the -amount of $249,777.55 on May 28, 2002. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of May, 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
