COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Consider Contract Extension for the Ramsey Star Express <br />Director of Public Works Olson reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to authorize staff to enter <br />into a fourth, 6-month contract extension (October 1, 2010-March 31, 2011) with First Transit <br />for the operation of the Ramsey Star Express. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, Look, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />7.02: Consider Adoption of Sale Ordinance for Approximately Five Acres of City Owned <br />Property in the River's Bend Addition near the Intersection of Xkimo Street and <br />142nd Avenue <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to waive the Charter <br />requirement to read the ordinance out loud and to not adopt the Ordinance authorizing the sale of <br />the property legally described in Exhibit A, attached to the ordinance, and which real property is <br />being platted as Outlot B, River's Bend 5th Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota and cancel the <br />purchase agreement. <br />City Council / September 14, 2010 <br />Page 4 of 8 <br />P16 <br />
