Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved forits adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED SIGN SIZE RESTRICTIONS ESTABLISHED IN CITY CODE. <br /> <br />permit <br />5923 - <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bob Muller, of Rum River Plaza, properly applied for a conditional use <br />to exceed pylon sign size established in City Code on the property generally known as <br />167'h Avenue and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The north 426.29 feet as measured along the west line of that part of the Southwest <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section, 11, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, lying westerly of the center line of State Highway No. 47. <br />Subject to road easements over the North and East 33 feet. <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on May 2, 2002, conducted the public <br />hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #__, a conditional use permit ("Permit") to exceed pylon sign <br /> size is hereby granted to Bob Muller ("Permittee"). <br /> <br />2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to expand the .existing pylon sign located on the <br /> Subject Property by 54 square feet per sign side. <br /> <br />3. The aggregate size of the freestanding pylon sign may not exceed an aggregate size of 290 <br /> square feet. <br /> <br />4. The freestanding pylon sign may not exceed the 25-foot height restriction, <br /> <br />5. The installation of the additional sign surface on the Subject Property shall require a sign <br /> permit t?om the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />6. The sign shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with Section 9.12 <br /> (Signs) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />7. That the Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and' <br /> en/brcing this Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />8. That the City Administrator, or his/her designee, shall have the right to inspect the premises <br /> for compliance and safety purposes annually or at any time, upon reasonable request. <br /> <br />-251- <br /> <br /> <br />
