5.0 PUMP AND TANK YES NO <br />5.1 Th'e aPparatus shall come with a ~ 500 gpm single stage <br /> pump. <br />5.1.1 .Pump priming syste~n shall be accomplished by using a rotary <br /> vane 12v priming pump. <br />5.1.2 Pump shift shall be accomplished pneumatically. Required <br /> indicator lights shall be placed in cab and at pump panel. <br />5.1.3 Thermal relief protection shall be provided for pump. <br />5.2 The pump shall have the following intakes; <br /> (1 ) passenger side 6" suction-w/remote pneumatic valve wi5" <br /> Storz Connection <br /> (1) Drivers side 6" suction-w/slow opening valve with standard <br /> thread. <br /> (1) Drivers side 2 1/2" suction-w/manual valve <br /> (1) Tank to pump 3" intake- Manual valve <br />5.2.1 (1) Rear 5" intake with 5" Storz connection and cap to be bid <br /> as separate item. <br />5.3 The pump shall have the following discharges; <br /> (1) Tank fill I 112"- manual valve <br /> (3) Crosslays 2 1/2"- manual valve <br /> (2) Passen. ger side 2 1/2" manual valve <br /> (1) Passenger side 4" manual valve with 30° elbow and 5" <br /> Storz connection <br /> (1) Aerial water 4" manual valve (1500 gpm capacity) <br /> (1) Front bumper 1 1/2" manual valve <br /> All.discharges will have_ drains. ... <br />5.4 All drains shall be quarter turn activated. <br />5.4.1 Drains shall be provided for 6" passenger side intake and for <br /> the 2 It2" drivers side intake. <br />5.5 The pump shall be governed' by an electronic pressure <br /> controller. <br />5.6 The pump shall be protected from the elements by a heated <br /> enclosure with 24,000 BTU's minimum. <br />5.7 The water tank shall be a minimum size of 300 gallons of <br /> water with an int.e, gral 20-gallon foam tank. <br />5.7.1 The water tank shall be polypropylene plastic with a lifetime <br /> warranty. <br />5.7.2 Tank to PUmP flow rate shall be a minimum of 500 gpm. <br />5.8 A Foam Pro model 2002 Shall be supplied by the purchaser <br /> and will be installed and connected to the pump through a 4" <br /> diameter manifold. <br />5.8.1 The foam system shall provide foam to the following <br /> discharges; all crosslays, front bumper and aerial waterway. <br />5.9 All inlets and discharges required by NFPA to be covered, <br /> shall be covered with chrome-plated caps and chains. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />-314- <br /> <br /> <br />
