Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />6:33' p.m. <br /> <br />cITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Authorize Recruitment Process for Clerk II, Administrative Services <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the position of Clerk II in Administrative Services was <br />vacated due to a termination earlier this year. The Clerk II job description was reviewed by the <br />City Clerk, Assistant City Administrator, and the City Administrator and revised to focus on <br />records management program development and the ability to work with web-site applications. <br />The minimum requirements for the position were clarified to require less formal training and <br />provide more flexibility in recruiting an applicant with more working experience. No changes <br />were made to the pay structure. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to recommend that the City <br />Council authorize staffto begin the recruitment process for the Clerk II position. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee/March 26, 2002 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
