I I I I I I I I I I I '1 I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-04-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING ESTABLISHING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Minnesota has been redistricted; and WHEREAS, the voting precincts in the City of Ramsey must be reestablished after the legislature has been redistricted; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTYi STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City if Ramsey is divided into four wards and eight voting precincts effective with the September 10, 2002, State Primary Election. 2) That the boundaries of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B. 14, subdivision 3c. 3) That the polling places of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B. 16 That such boundaries and polling places shall be as follows: New Song Church, 6341 - 167th Avenue NW: (Insert Legal) Cross of Hope Church, 5730- 179th Lane NW: (Insert Legal) Fire Station No. 2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW: (Insert Legal) Park Center, Central Park, 7925 - 161st Avenue NW: (Insert Legal) Fire Station No. 2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW: (Insert Legal) Independent Baptist Church, 15650 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW: (Insert 4) Ward 1 - Precinct 1: Ward 1 - Precinct 2: Ward 2 - Precinct 1: Ward 2 - Precinct 2: Ward 3 - Precinct 1: Ward 3 - Precinct 2: Legal) Ward 4 - Precinct 1: Legal) Ward 4 - Precinct 2: Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW: (Insert Lord of Life Church, 14501 Nowthen Boulevard NW: (Insert Legal) Attached to this resolution is a map showing said precincts and the location of each polling place. ,O3
