Councilmember <br /> <br />. introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #02-10-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 5a'a PARTIAL PAYlVIENT TO LATOUR <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-52 (SUNWOOD DroVE <br />EXTENSION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01- <br />12-431 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 26, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02- <br />02-070 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension. project to <br />LaTour Construction in the amount of $769,415.83; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 1st partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $249,777.55. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 2nd partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $169,21'9.81. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 3r~t partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $118,205.76. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 4th Partial payment to LaTour ConstruCtion, Inc. in the amount of $38,711.65. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspeCted the completed work and <br />recommended 5th partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $101,621.19. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to LaTour Construction for <br /> Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project in the amount of <br /> $101,621.19 on October 22, 2002. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of October, 2002. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />-127- <br /> <br /> <br />
