I ,I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-10"XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 2nd PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RICHARD INC. FOR IMPROVEMIgNT PROJECT #01-32 (AZURITE STREET NW) KNLrrSON, WHEREAs, on September 25, 2001, City council adOpted ResOlution #01:09-342 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on October 23, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-10- 395 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #01-32, Azurite Street, to Richard Knutson, Inc., in the amount of $3 l 1,633.05, and; WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $141,016.62. WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed Work and recommended second partial payment to Richard Knutson; Inc. in the amount of $138,930.82. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-Hi CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 1st partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. for Improvement Project #01-32, Azurite Street NW, in the amount of $138,930.82 on October 22, 2002. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City administrator to sign the release form' for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: -135-
