Development Director <br />Amy Geisler, Community Development Intern <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Links at Northfork GC, LLC has applied for a vacation of public street and utility easements <br />on Lot 10, Block 3 of Northfork Links Addition. The following items are enclosed for your <br />information: -~ <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of proposed easement vacation <br />Proposed easement vacation ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, staff attempted to notify all persons owning property within 350 <br />feet of the subject property of the request for easement vacation and related public hearing. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The public street and utility easement was Put in place when Northfork Links Addition was <br />platted, in anticipation of the extension of 153fd Avenue. The street was subsequently extended in <br />a different location than shown on the Northfork Links plat; therefore, the City no loriger requires <br />public street and utility easements as shown on the plat. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the request for easement vacation. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce ordinance #02-10- to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility <br />easement on Lot 3, Block 10, Northfork Links Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Principal Planner <br />Associate Planner <br />CC: 10/22/02 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />-167- <br /> <br /> <br />
