-338- <br /> <br />Citizen Petition Requesting an Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet (EAW) for The Villas of Meadow Point, a PUD <br />located in Ramsey, Minnesota <br /> <br />We the undersigned believe that the proposed development "The Villas of Meadow <br />Point" has potential to create a significant environmental impact on our <br />neighborhood. We request that the City of Ramsey prepare an Environmental <br />Assessment Worksheet (EAW) to review the possible impacts we have'listed in our <br />petition below. We suggest that the EAW be prepared by the City of Ramsey in <br />partnership with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Division of <br />Ecological Services or by an independent contractor. We further ask that the City of <br />Ramsey delay approval for preliminary plat and rezoning until the EAW is <br />complete. <br /> <br />Description of Proposed Proiect <br /> <br />"The Villas of Meadow Point", a Townhome Development consisting of 157 townhouse <br />units(comprised of two-unit and sixteen-unit town-home buildings).'The first phase <br />consists of 38 two-unit town-home buildings and 4 single-family lots. The property is <br />generally located in the triangular area formed by the intersect[on of Nowthen Blvd., <br />Suntlsh Lake Blvd. and Alpine Drive in the City of Ramsey, Minnesota.
