Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on September 24, 2002, to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Ratify Hiring of Human Resources Manager <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-10- <br />252 authorizing the hiring of Patrick Leadens for the position of full-time Human <br />Resource Manager at a starting wage of $61,049, plus benefits and three weeks vacation, <br />contingent upon successful completion of background checks, employment physical, and <br />drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) 'Closed Session <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that the Council would be scheduling a closed session sometime <br />during the week of September 30th to discuss the case City of Ramsey vs. Kurak. <br /> <br />2) Recycling Day <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler announced that the City of Ramsey recycling day <br />would be held on Saturday September 28th from 8:00 a.m. to noon. <br /> <br />3) Cai Thorpe Proposal <br /> <br />City Council/September 24, 2002 <br /> Page 31 of 33 <br /> <br />-65- <br /> <br /> <br />
