I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #02-12-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 6TM PARTIAL PAYMENT T© LATOUR <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-52 (SUNWOOD DRIVE <br />EXTENSION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01- <br />12-431 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference' work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 26, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02- <br />02-070 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project to <br />LaTour Construction in the amount of $769,415.83; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 1st partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $249,777.55. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 2~d partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $169,219..81. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 3~'~ partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $118,205.76. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />. recommended 4th partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $38,711.65. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended 5m partial payment to LaTour ConstructiOn, Inc. in the amount of $101,621.19. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the Completed work and <br />recommended 6th partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $114,268.43. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to LaTour Construction for. <br />Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project in. the amount of <br />$114,268.43 on December 10, 2002. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign. the release-form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutiOns approving payment of <br />bills for the month of December, 2002. <br /> <br />-77- <br /> <br /> <br />
