I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02 - 12 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING ALLOCATING $500 DOLLARS TO BE USED FOR THE FIFTH ANNUAL HOME IMPROVEMENT SHOW ON MARCH 22, 2003. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey participated in Home Improvement Show for since 1999; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved donating money ranging from $1,500 - $500 in order to participate in the Home Improvement Show for the past four Years; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey receiVed a refund from the'Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce every year since 1999; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Staff is requesting approval to participate in the 2003 Home Improvement Show; and WHEREAS, the Home Improvement Show Committee is requesting that the Ramsey City Council allocate $500 dollars to fund a portion of the start up costs of the North Suburban Home Improvement Show; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Staff is reqUesting $500 dollars be allocated through the 2003 EDA Donations budget for the Home Improvement Show. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey is hereby authorized to participate in the 2003 Home Improvement Show. 2) That the City Council hereby authorize the allocation of $500 dollars from the 2003 EDA Donations budget to help fund a portion of the start up costs of the March 2003 North Suburban Home Improvement Show.
