Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />City Council Members <br /> <br />Megan Wald, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Verizon Wireless Lease Agreement <br /> <br />The City Council approved a conditional use permit for Verizon Wireless on October 9, 2001, to <br />install cellular antennas on the City Water Tower #2 and to locate related equipment cabinets inside <br />the water tower on the ground floor. Item #4 of the approved conditional use permit states "The <br />amount of space leased upon the ground floor will be 152 square feet." The lease agreement the City <br />Attorney, Verizon Wireless, and Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson completed, states Verizon <br />Wireless will lease 311 square feet. <br /> <br />The 152 square feet in the conditional use permit does not reflect the updated space Verizon Wireless <br />requires for their equipment cabinets and chain link fence they are installing around their equipment. <br /> <br />The City and Verizon Wireless have signed the lease agreement and therefore the conditional use <br />permit should be consistent with the signed agreement. <br /> <br />This memo approved by the City Council on the consent agenda will serve as official action to <br />change item #4 of the conditional use permit for Verizon Wireless, bom 152 square feet to 311 <br />square feet of lease space in the City water tower. <br /> <br />Thank you <br /> <br />-11- <br /> <br /> <br />
