CASE # <br /> <br /> RECEIVE BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT 02-34, CONSTRUCTION OF RAMSEY PARK AND RIDE FACILITY <br />By: Brian E. Olson, Principal City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Improvement Project 02-34 consists of the construction of a 175 lot multimodal facility. <br />Authorization to advertise for bids was ordered on August 19, 2002, and bids are scheduled to be <br />received Friday, September 20, 2001. The bid results will be made available along with a <br />resolution awarding the project to the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />The City Attorney is currently in negotiations with the land owner and will report on the status of <br />those negotiations at the City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />To be presented at the meeting. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve Resolution #02-09-XXX, awarding Project 02-34, Construction of Ramsey <br />Park Facility to the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />CC: 10/23/01 <br /> <br />-113- <br /> <br /> <br />
