AUTHORIZE PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 2 FOR CITY HALL REMODELING <br />PROJECT <br /> By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br /> The remodeling project at City Hall is progressing, and we are looking for <br />completion of the project by the end of September. We have experienced a slight delay <br />due to delivery of carpet as specified, however, with some shifting the in balance of the <br />construction schedule; the completion date will remain relatively unchanged. The <br />Community Development and Engineering staff will not be mooring upstairs until the 19th <br />and 20th Of September instead of this past week, as had been planned. We will begin <br />using the new service counter as soon as staffcan occupy the area. This pay request <br />represents completion of approximately seventy percent (70%) of the project. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br /> Approve Resolution No. 09-02-xx, authorizing partial payment in the amount of <br />$31,314.00 to Braun Built Corporation for work completed this far (approx. 70%) on the <br />City Hall remodeling project. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br /> By motion, approve Resolution No. 09-02-xx, authorizing partial payment in the <br />amount of $31,314.00 to Braun Built Corporation for work completed thus far on the City <br />Hall remodeling project. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Asst.
