-230- <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Recreational vehicles may be operated only in the <br />following locations within the City: <br /> <br />a. On the operator's property subject to the provisions of this Section. <br /> <br />On privately owned property if the operator has in possession written <br />permission from the property owner; or, on privately owned property <br />if the property owner has posted a clearly visible notice indicating <br />"Recreational Vehicles Allowed" or words substantially similar. <br /> <br />On lakes specifically designated by Council resolution and subject to <br />the jurisdiction of the City. <br /> <br />On trunk highways, county state aid roads or county roads within the <br />designated use area .as regulated by this ordinance or Minnesota <br />Statutes. <br /> <br />On City streets within the designated use area, as allowed by <br />Minnesota Statutes, only when such operation is necessary to gain <br />access to designated areas which, by Minnesota Statutes or by this <br />ordinance, may be used by recreational vehicles. <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />On public or semi-public property within the designated use area <br />only if clearly posted with signs designating the area or specific <br />areas as open to recreational vehicles. <br /> <br />go <br /> <br />A person may only operate a snowmobile within the designated use <br />area in accordance to this Ordinance. Operation within the <br />designated non-use area is limited to ones own private property or on <br />privately owned property if the operator has in possession written <br />permission from the property owner. A map showing the boundaries <br />of the designated non-use area shall be on display at the City Hall <br />and the Police Department. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Limitations of Operation for ATV's and OHM's: <br /> <br />All-terrain vehicles and off-highway motorcycles may only be <br />operated within the ditch or outside bank of a trunk, county state-aid, <br />or county highway within the designated use area. Ali-terrain vehicles <br />and off-highway motorcycles may be operated on ones own private <br />property or on privately owned property if the operator has in <br />possession written permission from the property owner anywhere <br />within the city limits. <br /> <br /> <br />
