The need to go beyond the 16-foot <br />ordinance requirement is based upon the following. First, and most impontant, is to have <br />a roofline that is similar to the existing structure (house). Second, the steeper slope <br />would allow for extra storage and reduce the overall size and cost of the building. Th/rd, <br />we do have approximately four and one-half acres so there is enough space so that the <br />building will not impair the aesthetics of the neighborhood. Lastly, the building is similar <br />in design and size of an unattached garage located on our neighbor's property. <br /> <br />We appreciate your consideration of this request. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />William A.
