AUTHORIZE PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR CITY HALL REMODELING <br />PROJECT <br /> By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br /> Remodeling of Ramsey City Hall began in early July. As of the end of July, <br />approximately one-third of the work to be completed by Braun Built Inc. has been <br />completed. The attached Application and Certificate for Payment and receipts represent <br />payment for work completed thus far, approximately one-third of the contract amount. <br />Construction is progressing very well and the project is on schedule. Staff anticipates <br />moving the Engineering and Community Development Departments upstairs to the <br />renovated office space the week after Labor Day. Additionally, the new service counter <br />will be ready the same week, and reception staffwill be moving to the new office space <br />at that time as well. Phase three of the project will begin shortly thereafter on the <br />Administration and Finance Departments. Project completion is expected by the end of <br />September. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br /> Authorize partial payment in the amount of $36,106 to Braun Built Corporation <br />for work completed thus far on the City Hall remodeling project. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br /> By motion, authorize partial payment in the amount of $36,106 to Braun Built <br />Corporation for work completed thus far on the City Hall remodeling project. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Asst.
