CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a work session on Monday June 4, 2002, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number II, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />EDA Chairperson Chris Reilley <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session of the City Council to order at 6:17 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Work Session Topics <br /> <br />Case #l: Commission Interviews <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that all candidates would be asked the same questions. <br /> <br />The following is the list of candidates interviewed and their responses to the questions asked: <br /> <br />Richard Kzueger-EDA Appointment: Stated that he is interested in seeing the City grow and <br />feels that the commercial zone has.become very important in the City and would like to see it <br />done in an orderly fashion. He stated that he has been a building official for 30 years and could <br />offer that lcnowledge to the City. As far as dealing with conflicts he did have to deal with waste <br />problems while working with the County.
