-26- CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec Councilmember Susan E. Anderson Councilmember Terry Hendriksen Councilmember Patti Kurak Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman Also Present: City Administrator James E. Norman Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik City Engineer Brian Olson City Engineer Steve Jankowski City Attorney William Goodrich CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and called upon Councilmember Zimmerman to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Community Development Director Frolik introduced Amy Dysler, the new intern for the Community Development Department for the City. Mayor Gamec acknowledged the Lions Community Picnic held the first weekend in June and thanked them for putting this together. He stated there were free meals for children in the community under the age of 12. He also noted that the Public Works Department put in a lot of work and time to set this up. He thanked the Lions and the Public Works Department. Mayor Gamec announced that on July 16 and 17, there will be a safety camp at Rum River Boy Scout Camp, which would be for boys and girls in fifth and sixth grade. He stated it would be a two-day, all day event, h~terested parties should contact City Hall or the Police Department to sign up for this. CITIZEN INPUT There was no Citizen Input.
