However, in the case of Torrents property, the only instrument that can be used to <br />record the conveyance is a Registered Land Survey'. Registered Land Surveys require City <br />Council approval. She explained that it is necessary for the City Council to review and approve <br />this Administrative Subdivision. Both Lots 11 and 12 will continue to maintain compliance with <br />the minimum lot size for Northfork after the conveyance of the property to the golf course. <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman asked if Tracts B and C will be substandard. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated they will not have their own PIN number and <br />will be combined with the golf course. Lots 11 and 12 will not be substandard in size. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman asked what is the smallest lot size in that area. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied that in Northfork the smallest lot size is one <br />acre. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adopt Resolution <br />#02-07-171 approving a Registered Land Survey to subdivide a portion of Lots 11 and 12, Block <br />2, Northfork St. Andrews Addition as Tract C for conveyance to the golf course. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimlnerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to introduce an <br />ordinance to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easements on Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, <br />Northfork St. Andrews Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Public Hearing on the Proposed Vacation of Certain Streets <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson explained that as part of the discussion about the expansion of the Public <br />Works facility, Staff was directed to proceed with the process to combine the north and south <br />facilities to accommodate the need for additional space for Public Works. He noted the drawing <br />included in the meeting packet is not correct and staff is now recommending that only the portion <br />between the two Public Works facilities be vacated. Staff recommended that following the <br />public hearing, Council order the introduction of an ordinance vacating these segments of City <br />streets and preserving them as drainage and utility easements, assuming no adverse comments <br />are introduced.
