Motion by Commissioner Cleveland, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to approve the <br />following amended minutes: <br />1) Planning Commission special meeting minutes dated September 16, 2010. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Van Scoy, Commissioners Cleveland Brauer, <br />and Rogers. Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner Dunaway. Absent: Chairperson <br />Levine. <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 10, 2010 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 24, 2010 <br />3) City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 14, 2010 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS /COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Public Hearing — Request for a Home Occupation Permit to Operate a Lawn <br />Care and Landscape Service at 14200 Tungsten St. NW; Case of Justin Dahl <br />Public Hearing <br />Vice Chairperson Van Scoy called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br />Citizen Input <br />Justin Dahl, 14200 Tungsten Street, the applicant stated the employees that do come to the house <br />are there only three or four times a week. The employee vehicles are parked in the driveway or <br />on the street in front of the house. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated the ordinance states no parking on the street during the hours of <br />2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., however it is encouraged to park in the driveway when it is related to a <br />home occupation. <br />Mr. Dahl stated the business owns three vehicles, he has two trailers at the house, a bobcat not at <br />his house, blazer not at his house, a Ford F350 and F150 at his house. He stated he does very <br />minimal onsite maintenance on his vehicles. The 6x12 trailer, black trailer, red F150 and black <br />Ford F350 are stored outside, he continued that he tries to park them uniformly, he does the best <br />he can to keep it neat. <br />Planning Commission /October 7, 2010 <br />Page 2 of 11 <br />
