Motion by Commissioner Cleveland, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to approve the following amended minutes: 1) Planning Commission special meeting minutes dated September 16, 2010. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Van Scoy, Commissioners Cleveland Brauer, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner Dunaway. Absent: Chairperson Levine. NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES The following Council minutes were noted: 1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 10, 2010 2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 24, 2010 3) City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 14, 2010 PUBLIC HEARINGS /COMMISSION BUSINESS Case #1: Public Hearing — Request for a Home Occupation Permit to Operate a Lawn Care and Landscape Service at 14200 Tungsten St. NW; Case of Justin Dahl Public Hearing Vice Chairperson Van Scoy called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. Presentation Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. Citizen Input Justin Dahl, 14200 Tungsten Street, the applicant stated the employees that do come to the house are there only three or four times a week. The employee vehicles are parked in the driveway or on the street in front of the house. Associate Planner Gladhill stated the ordinance states no parking on the street during the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., however it is encouraged to park in the driveway when it is related to a home occupation. Mr. Dahl stated the business owns three vehicles, he has two trailers at the house, a bobcat not at his house, blazer not at his house, a Ford F350 and F150 at his house. He stated he does very minimal onsite maintenance on his vehicles. The 6x12 trailer, black trailer, red F150 and black Ford F350 are stored outside, he continued that he tries to park them uniformly, he does the best he can to keep it neat.
