CC Regular Session <br />Date: 11/23/2010 <br />By: Tim Himmer <br />Engineering/Public Works <br />Title: <br />CONSIDER AMENDMENT TO THE FARE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR THE RAMSEY STAR EXPRESS BUS SERVICE <br />Background: <br />The original fare reimbursement agreement with the Met Council, for the Ramsey Star Express bus service, is set to <br />expire at the end of the year. The proposed first amendment will extend the timeline of the existing agreement to <br />March 31, 2011. The Met Council is currently evaluating additional updates and changes to all fare reimbursement <br />agreements, but it will take some time for a complete analysis and drafting. Until such time the original terms of <br />the agreement will remain in place until a new agreement is created and brought forward to the City Council for <br />consideration.
