Update on Erosion Control Escrow Activities — Ratify the recommendation of the <br />Public Works Committee and reaffirm the current policy as is <br />e. Consider Contract Revisions for the Reconstruction of Armstrong Boulevard <br />Improvement Project #06 -20 — This case was ratified at the October 26, 2010 CC <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Elvig, and Dehen, <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Look, McGlone, and Wise. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARING <br />None. <br />Councilmember McGlone and Wise arrived at 7:05 p.m. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Request for Home Occupation Permit to Operate a Lawn Care and Landscape <br />Service at 14200 Tungsten St NW; Case of Justin Dahl <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br />Mayor Ramsey noted this was a smaller lot with a lot of equipment and employee parking, which <br />impacted his neighbors. He suggested the equipment be stored off -site. <br />Justin Dahl, 14200 Tungsten Street, explained his wife's two cars went into the garage. He has <br />two trucks that would be parked in his driveway. He noted the trailer he used everyday during <br />the season and he had checked into storage, which was expensive. He noted his driveway sits <br />back 150 feet. He stated the lawnmower in the yard was fixed and was no longer in the yard. He <br />stated he tried to keep his yard and vehicles clean. He stated he did not build the garage and he <br />would keep as much equipment in the garage as possible. He noted the reason he moved to the <br />City was because of the large detached garage. He stated if he had to store his trailer somewhere <br />else, it would affect him He stated he would try and put the trailer in the garage as much as <br />possible. He agreed to put up a fence. He stated he also owned a dirt bike and a motorcycle. <br />Tony Stone, 14210 Tungsten Street, stated he lives to the right of the property. He stated he has <br />lived in the City since 2002.
