Capital Improvement Program 2011 rhru 2015 <br />City Of Ramsey, Nlinnesota Department Street Improvements <br />Contact <br />Project # 11 -STR -001 Type Unassigned <br />Useful Life 25 <br />Project Name Alpine Dr & Sunfish Lake Blvd (CSAH) Intersection <br />Category Street Improvement <br />Priority 6- Planned <br />Status Active <br />Description Total Project Cost: $225,000 <br />The intersection of Alpine Dr and Sunfish Lake Blvd is proposed to be improved through a joint effort with Anoka County. <br />improvements include the lowering the grades through the intersection for improved sight lines, installation of concrete curb & gutter, utility & <br />lrainage improvements, reconstruction & widening of bituminous trails, replacement of the existing 4 -way stop condition with a traffic signal, <br />iddition of dedicated turn lanes, and concrete medians to channelize the turning movements and create separation at the approach to the <br />Justification <br />This project received funding from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). Due to an <br />iccident history in the past long term safety improvements are proposed, which would also improve the capacity and traffic circulation through this <br />ntersection.
