STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 04 -33 TO PRO- VIDE FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR COMPUTER AND COMPUTER RELATED EQUIPMENT This Ordinance amends Ordi- nance No. 04 -33, which isan'ordi- nance authorizing a'salary increase for the Mayor and City Council, by adding a provision to allow for com- puter and computer related equip- ment reimbursement:' - SECTION 1. - " r This Ordinance is adoptedpursu- ant to and under the•authority of the Home Role' Charter of'the City of Ramsey; Sedion2.7.and Minnesota Statutes 415.11: , SECTION 2. - PURPOSE It is the purpose of this Ordi- nance to provide for reimbursement to the Mayor and City .Council for a computer to be used in their perfor- mance as members of the Ramsey City Council. o ,�F < CU0N� AMENDMENT ,, Qrdinance o. 044 -33 is hereby 'am N ended to provide tractile follow - ` ingreirribursement: — The Mayor and City Coun- cilmembers of the City of Ramsey will be provided reimbursement by City fora computer purchased for use in their official capacity as Ramsey City Councilmembers In a- maximum amount ofr$800 with . receipt for proof of purchase of said computer. - The reimbursement will be done once per member per four -year Counditenn.:The computer must be purchased within the first six. (6) months of the member's term to be eligible for reimbursement as pro, vided in this Ordinance: The computer purchases reim- bursed under his Ordinance are the personal property of the Mayor or Councilmember. Individual Coun - cilmembers -mayrefuse this benefit. Only those Councilmembers.in office on January 1, 2011 and thereaf- ter will, be eligible for this computer and computer related equipment reimbursement Notwithstanding the preceding provision, a. Mayor elect and Councilmembers elect who will take office effective January 1 o any year may be reimbursed after January 1 of any year, for their computer equipment purchased prior to the effective date of the commencement of their term in office:: Also, any Mayor or Councilmember In office at the time of the effective date of this ordinance may receive said reim- bursement within six (6) months of the effective date. SECTION 4.
