ORDINANCE #10-14 <br />CM' OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY ! <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 04 -33 TO PRO- <br />VIDE FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR <br />COMPUTER AND COMPUTER <br />RELATED EQUIPMENT <br />This Ordinance amends Ordi- <br />nance No. 04 -33, which isan'ordi- <br />nance authorizing a'salary increase <br />for the Mayor and City Council, by <br />adding a provision to allow for com- <br />puter and computer related equip- <br />ment reimbursement:' - <br />SECTION 1. - " <br />r This Ordinance is adoptedpursu- <br />ant to and under the•authority of the <br />Home Role' Charter of'the City of <br />Ramsey; Sedion2.7.and Minnesota <br />Statutes 415.11: , <br />SECTION 2. - PURPOSE <br />It is the purpose of this Ordi- <br />nance to provide for reimbursement <br />to the Mayor and City .Council for a <br />computer to be used in their perfor- <br />mance as members of the Ramsey <br />City Council. <br />o ,�F < CU0N� AMENDMENT <br />,, Qrdinance o. 044 -33 is hereby <br />'am N <br />ended to provide tractile follow - <br />` ingreirribursement: <br />— The Mayor and City Coun- <br />cilmembers of the City of Ramsey will <br />be provided reimbursement by <br />City fora computer purchased for use <br />in their official capacity as Ramsey <br />City Councilmembers In a- maximum <br />amount ofr$800 with . receipt for <br />proof of purchase of said computer. - <br />The reimbursement will be done <br />once per member per four -year <br />Counditenn.:The computer must be <br />purchased within the first six. (6) <br />months of the member's term to be <br />eligible for reimbursement as pro, <br />vided in this Ordinance: <br />The computer purchases reim- <br />bursed under his Ordinance are the <br />personal property of the Mayor or <br />Councilmember. Individual Coun - <br />cilmembers -mayrefuse this benefit. <br />Only those Councilmembers.in <br />office on January 1, 2011 and thereaf- <br />ter will, be eligible for this computer <br />and computer related equipment <br />reimbursement Notwithstanding the <br />preceding provision, a. Mayor elect <br />and Councilmembers elect who will <br />take office effective January 1 o any <br />year may be reimbursed after January <br />1 of any year, for their computer <br />equipment purchased prior to the <br />effective date of the commencement <br />of their term in office:: Also, any <br />Mayor or Councilmember In office at <br />the time of the effective date of this <br />ordinance may receive said reim- <br />bursement within six (6) months of <br />the effective date. <br />SECTION 4.
