The City Council originally approved a conditional use <br />permit ~$~-~ding and ~ing of soil from this property on March 25, 1997. The applicant <br />subsequently ~li~d!;~;r and received a new conditional use permit to mine material on May 23, <br />2000, which wast6 expire two years from the date of commencement of the operation, but no <br />later than three years from the date of issuance. Material was mined for the T.H. 47 project in <br />June 2000, and for additional uses thereafter. The applicant desires to continue the mining and <br />grading operation to completion of the original proposal of nine acres; and has reapplied for a <br />continuation of the mining and grading conditional use permit.
