Community Development Director Frolik stated that the 26-foot setback is excessive but there is room for compromise. Councilmember Hendriksen asked what the hardship would be. Mayor Gamec stated the hardship would be major renovation in the back yard to the pool and digging up the sod. Councilmember Hendriksen stated it would be reasonable to allow a forty-foot setback because that is what the rules will be. Mayor Gamec asked if they could compromise at 30 feet.
