I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DON ZAPPA AND SON <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #01-35 (KOVAR ADDITION UTILITY EXTENSIONS ' <br />PROJECT AKA/SW EXTENSION RAMSEY PROFESSIONAL BUILDING) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 13, 2001, the Ramsey City Council made a motion awarding <br />Improvement Project #01-35 Kover Addition Utility Extensions Street and Utility Construction <br />project to Don Zappa and Son, Inc. in the amount of $46,I13.00, which was the lowest of six <br />quotations received for the project. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowsld inspected the completed work and <br />recommended partial payment to Don Zappa .and Son in the amount of $37,762.50. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Don Zappa and Son for <br />Improvement Project #01-35, Kovar Addition Utility Extensions project in the amount of <br />$37,762.50. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of June, 2002. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember_ <br /> .., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-06- <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-101- <br /> <br /> <br />
