I I I I I I i I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-06- RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DON ZAPPA AND SON FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #01-35 (KOVAR ADDITION UTILITY EXTENSIONS ' PROJECT AKA/SW EXTENSION RAMSEY PROFESSIONAL BUILDING) WHEREAS, on November 13, 2001, the Ramsey City Council made a motion awarding Improvement Project #01-35 Kover Addition Utility Extensions Street and Utility Construction project to Don Zappa and Son, Inc. in the amount of $46,I13.00, which was the lowest of six quotations received for the project. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowsld inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to Don Zappa .and Son in the amount of $37,762.50. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Don Zappa and Son for Improvement Project #01-35, Kovar Addition Utility Extensions project in the amount of $37,762.50. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of June, 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
