Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-06-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 2~m PARTIAL PAYMENT TO LATOUR CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-52 (SUNWOOD DRIVE EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01- 12-431 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and WHEREAS, on February 26, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02- 02-070 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project to LaTour Construction in the amount of $769,415.83; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 1st partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $249,777.55. WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 2na partial payment to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $169,219.81. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to LaTour Construction for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive Extension project in the amount of $169,219.81 on June 25, 2002. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of June, 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: -93-
