Ms. Lund responded that it was mailed out but she cannot control what happens with the mail <br />after that. <br />Mr. Merry stated that the account number is that of a Mr. Stolski. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated staff can go back and look at the account. <br />Mayor Ramsey stated that Mr. Merry has until November 5 to work this out. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig and seconded by Councilmember Look to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion carried. The public hearing closed at 7:38 p.m. <br />Council Business <br />The regular meeting was opened up at 7:38 p.m. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig and seconded by Councilmember Look to adopt Resolution <br />#10 -09 -213 adopting assessments for past -due charges on Municipal utility bills, which may <br />include water, sewer, street lighting, recycling, storm water charges and penalties incurred, and <br />current services rendered. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, McGlone <br />and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />6.03 Public Hearing and Levy of Special Assessments for the 2010 Street Maintenance <br />Program <br />Assistant City Engineer Jankowski stated that this is a public hearing on the special assessments <br />for the annual Street Maintenance Program. The 2010 program included almost 15 miles of <br />roadway. Three projects involve crack fill and sealcoating and three projects involve a 1 -1/2 <br />inch bituminous overlay. Two of the overlay projects have been completed and the third is <br />anticipated to be completed by the end of this week. He talked about the assessment policy — <br />three years ago, it was 50 percent, now it is 29 percent. He described in more detail what the <br />projects entail. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig and seconded by Councilmember Look to close the regular <br />portion of the meeting and open up the public hearing. <br />Motion carried.
