CITY OF RAMSEY COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on the 14th day of December, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Member introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DECERTIFYING TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS NO. 11, 12 AND 13 AND RETURNING EXCESS TAX INCREMENTS TO OTHER TAXING JURISDICTIONS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey (the "City ") has heretofore created Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 11, 12 and 13 (the "Tax Increment Districts "); and WHEREAS, the developments to be undertaken within the Tax Increment Districts as set forth in the tax increment financing plans have been completed and the final tax increment payments have been made or decertification of the Tax Increment Districts are required pursuant to law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council ") of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "City ") as follows: 1. The City Council hereby finds, declares and determines to decertify Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 11, 12 and 13 effective as of December 31, 2010. 2. Any tax increments collected from Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 11, 12, and 13 shall be returned to the County Auditor of Anoka County for distribution to the affected tax jurisdictions in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.176, subdivision 2. 3. The City Administrator is hereby directed to send a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Anoka County and to take all other steps which are necessary to decertify Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 11, 12 and 13, and to distribute the tax increments to the County. 3086970v1
