NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council supports Great River Energy's Phase I project to ensure continued <br />reliable electrical services to Ramsey and would consider supporting Phase II based on its <br />alignment; and <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council desires to work with Great River Energy, and the cities of Anoka, <br />Andover and Coon Rapids to expeditiously complete Project I; and <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council supports Great River Energy's consideration to utilize the existing <br />69 -kV transmission line corridor for the 115 -kV transmission line proposed for project II; and <br />4) That the Ramsey City Council expresses a preference for a route that will minimize the <br />negative impact to the COR area because of the time and money the City has spent developing <br />this area. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Wise, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9 <br />day of August. <br />RESOLUTION #10 -08 -161 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Mayor <br />
