Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />RESOLUTION #10 -08 -190 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ASSIGNING REMAINING 2010 HAPPY DAYS WORK <br />TO ALTERNATIVE INTERNAL STAFF DUE TO A RESIGNATION <br />WHEREAS, the City's Management Intern has resigned; and <br />WHEREAS, staff must consider options for staffing the remaining administrative duties of this <br />year's event; and <br />WHEREAS, resources are available to the City with alternative internal staff; and <br />WHEREAS, staff requests authorization to use alternative compensation methods to <br />address the remaining administrative duties for the 2010 Happy Days event. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of alternative internal <br />staff and alternative compensation methods to address the administrative duties that <br />remain for the 2010 Happy Days event. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Ramsey, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />
